Building Green - What shade of green are we!

In 2003, Scott Homes became the first builder in Woodland Park and Teller County, Colorado to make the commitment to construct 100% of our new homes to the Built Green Colorado standard. That year we won the 2003 Parade Of Homes, People Choice Award as well as the prestigious "Affordable Energy Efficiency Award."

As an early adopter of the Built Green program it was an easy transition to Energy Star® standards. In 2007, Scott Homes  became the only builder in Woodland Park and Teller County to make the commitment to construct our new homes to the Energy Star Standards. 

In December of 2008, Scott Homes became the first builder in Woodland Park and Teller County to receive the prestigious Certified Green Professional, CGP designation from the National Association of Home Builders.
